The Nativity Story

My family and I just got back from seeing one of the best movies I've seen in a while - the Nativity Story. It was really good, and pretty accurate. Everyone who hasn't seen it yet should before it leaves theatres. It was great! Anyway, go see the Nativity Story!

Oh, and I'll have the promised Christmas pics soon! ;)

Merry Christmas!!!

Christmas comes but once a year. Now its here, now its here!!!!
I just got back from Christmas at Rock Island with my mom's side of the family and on Christmas Eve we went to my aunt and uncle's house with my dad's side of the family, so I'm pretty tired!!! But it was a very fun Christmas with lots of family. I have lots of pictures that I will post later, but for now, Merry Christmas!!!
God bless us, everyone!

Work, work, work...

I've added to my already busy schedule this month and I've started a job at the same warehouse that I worked at last summer. When I was there then, we were packing school supplies to send to kids so they would have all the stuff they needed for the first day of school. This time, I've been unloading and organizing little trinkets and figurines that had been sent out to schools to provide the kids with a shop to purchase gifts and toys for their friends and family as Christmas presents. It's kind of confusing, but all I've been doing is organizing all the leftover merchandise in the warehouse. Once we get all the merchandise in, the real fun starts - inventory! We'll probably start that in the next week or two. Two of my co-workers worked at the primary school last summer, so at least I know their names. Well, it's off to work!

Have a happy Tuesday, everyone!!! ;)

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!

Isn't it perfect that the first major snowfall of the season happens on December 1st? I just love the snow! Here's a picture of our backyard from a very snowy window:
walkin' in a winter wonderland!

I can't believe it's almost Christmas already! My mom got all of our Christmas lights and decorations up on the same weekend as all the snow fell. Our beautiful, tall, ever-so-green plastic Christmas tree is decked out to the finest, and of course, here's a pic!
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree...
hm hm hm hm hm... branches! ;)

As Christmas steadily approaches (what, like 16 days now?!?) and the shopping days count down, remember to keep CHRIST in CHRISTmas!

Don't Just Look, Listen!

Warning: may need to adjust volume accordingly! : )
