My Weekend

I had a very relaxing weekend! It started with going out to Pizza Hut for supper followed by Friday-Family-Movie-Night. This week's movie was Akeelah and the Bee. We had watched this one at youth group a few weeks back and I brought it home for my family to see. It was very good - I definitely recommend it!







The next morning I got up early (at least for a Saturday!) to run some errands with my mom and Mark. I went to Kohl's and found some really great deals on clothes. I think I have my outfit for Easter planned!!! We went out to Qdoba afterwards for lunch. I love their nacho chips - perfectly salty and great with pico de gallo salsa or guacamole. Delicious!!! Then it was home to do my laundry. A lot of laundry. It seems like I did my entire wardrobe...


Then today, I had youth group after church. We went out to Jimmy John's and then to the Husky Den on NIU's campus for bowling. I absolutely cannot bowl, but I still had a fun time!!!


Only one week of school left until spring break! WWOOOOHHOOOO!!!!!!! I'm not going anywhere exciting like London or anything, but I won't have to sit through 6 video classes per day for a week!!! And spring break means that Easter is just around the corner!!! I'm especially excited because that means that my Grandpa will be back from Texas. And at Easter, I'll get to see him and my cousins!!! I haven't seen my Grandpa or my cousins since Christmas, so I'm ready to get my fill of Graunke cousin time!!!

Oh, and did I mention it is officially spring?!? I get to wear shorts today because the high is somewhere around 70! Yea for spring!!!!! Well, I've gotta get back to baking cookies. Adios for now! ;)
